Loading the M2 is like flicking a booger off your finger in comparison. And they load hard compared to the other choices, it's hard to lighten the lifter spring on that design. The only modification you have to do right away is get an extended magazine tube, I like the +9 tubes which give you a capacity of 12+1, this allows you to load 4 at the start if the stage allows and more flexibility with reloading later in the stage. There's not a huge difference between the 21 and 24' barrel, if I had the choice today I'd go 24' but it's not a big deal. I have only replaced springs in that timespan. Mine has a 21' barrel due to the rules that were in place when I started 3 gun long ago.

The only thing id do differently if I had it to do all over again is have them stipple the grip and forearm.
